Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at this hillside hotel, I found the combination of traditional charm and modern amenities quite compelling. Nestled in a serene location with breathtaking views of the surrounding city, the property offers spacious rooms that comfortably accommodate families, which is ideal for my own travels with my wife and our two daughters. While the room exceeded my expectations in size and comfort, featuring a well-appointed bathroom with strong water pressure, I noticed that the accessibility for those without a vehicle might be challenging due to the elevation of the hotel. It's also worth noting that communication with the staff can be an issue, as they are not always readily available; having a working phone would be beneficial seeking assistance. The modern wing contains kitchen facilities that I wasn't informed about upon arrival, suggesting a need for clearer guidance on communal resources. Despite these aspects, the convenient parking and proximity to charming local restaurants and cafes make it a practical choice for exploring the area. If you have a car and are prepared for the terrain, this hotel presents a solid base for discovering the local culture.
